Why You Need to Just Say “No”!

Aloha from Maui Hawaii!

Shilpi and I are having an INCREDIBLE time. Yesterday we went on a helicopter cruise over Maui and a neighboring island.

Today we went snorkeling and had a chance to swim with sea turtles. VERY cool.

Anyway I’m on vacation so I gotta run in a sec. Here’s the first video for this week…

  1. Great video. Although I’m not “rich” I have had my share of success and I know exactly what you’re talking about.

Another way to deal with this situation is to create a more formal “proposal” system where people can pitch you their JV ideas, but they have to go through a formal process of creating a very detailed proposal etc. I think Joel Comm even charges a fee to look over such proposals with no guarantee that he’ll do anything with it.

Joe Vitale also had another great idea. He setup a way where you could do a mastermind meeting with him in a small private group of 2-3 people with him and I think it was like $10k or more. During the session you could also pitch him your idea.

Once an investment like that is in the picture, you pretty much weed out 99.99% of the people who would otherwise just waste your time, without completely shutting yourself off from potentially beneficial JV deals with business people who do fit in with your long term vision.

  2. They say : No is the best answer if you really no know how to say it and when to say it. Good tips out there, i will use it when i will become a millionaire.

Hey Amit BTW i have business proposal to work with you :-) LoL

  3. Shane Hale says:

Very informative post! I am still working to get there on my own =) I learn from my failures and it helps me. I am enjoying your videos. I really like the opt in below what is that?

  4. Javier Chua says:

Yeah. Great tips on that. I’m curious about the opt in below too. What is it called and how to get that on a web page?

  5. Tom says:

I must learn to say no to next ebooks and courses. Only choose the best and implement what I learn.

  6. Raj says:

    Hey Amit,
That is NOT the problem I have now. lol.
But hope to get into that kind of trouble soon.

What should i do so you give me opportunity to work for/with you atleast on casual basis for few months.

I don’t find the contact page on this site. You are clever man.

  7. Amit,

Wow, I’m jealous you’re enjoying in Hawaii. That’s awesome man. One day I’ll take that trip as well.

#1) Yes, TRUST is the #1 key factor if you JV or partner up, I’ve seen deals go south because the “circle of trust” was broken. It’s not pretty.

    AND..

#2)…you hit another IMPORTANT point. IT MUST FIT IN YOUR “OWN” LONG TERM BUSINESS GOALS. I think, as an internet marketer, we have a habit of jumping from one hot trend to another “Next best thing” without fully utilizing what we have. There are times I don’t see the project full circle (fast failures). In order to stay rich, you have to build on your assets (stay focused) and not be distracted on JV’s that don’t quite fit the bill.

Enjoy the rest of your vacation

    Onwards and Upwards,
    Anthony

  8. Amit,

Another great video and good advice. While I understand the reaction to say no quickly to new proposals, instead, consider the person making the proposal and take the necessary time to review and offer advice on the product or program they are submitting. Your personal advice could change their life. Just a thought.

I appreciate your wisdom to the viewers.

    Richard
